Happy Monday!
This past weekend was one of the most special in a while because I got to see my dad after SEVEN months of being apart. He’s lived in London for 7 years, and is finally moving back to the states in April. Thank. God.
My family has always vacationed in Amelia Island since I was a baby, and it’s my dad and my favorite place in the world, for real. If you know my dad at all he loves wine, golf, sun, relaxation and music. This is probably why he loves Amelia so much. It has such a serene and low-key feel, and is only 40 minutes away from my apartment so it’s the perfect little escape, staycation, getaway etc. There’s really not another place I’d rather be over Amelia.
Yesterday was a high of 78 degrees and laying out weather. Nothing like the February’s I remember from NYC or New Jersey, and I’ll take it.
I got to wear a maxi dress (also my fav) on the beach and the best part is that it was a little hand-me-down from a best friend in Cali (thanks Samantha <3) It’s flowy, comfortable, and criss crosses at the back. The dress might be grey but the day sure wasn’t 😉
