This past weekend I attended a wedding in the beautiful St. Augustine, Florida in celebration of my boyfriend’s cousin. It can always be tricky to figure out what to wear to a wedding, or what is appropriate guest attire. You have to consider not only the style but length, texture and color scheme. It also depends on the setting of the wedding and how formal or informal it is. For this specific wedding, the setting was an outdoorsy, rustic, yet intimate themed wedding. The dress code was somewhat semi-formal, while most girls wore summer sundresses or fun, flirty maxi dresses and men wore dress pants and a button down shirt.
I chose to wear a maxi dress that seemed to fit perfect with the theme, tone and setting of the wedding. The Love Sadie Toile Chiffon Maxi Dress is a flowy and floral printed dress with an adjustable criss-cross tie. I love how light and simple it is, yet elegant and chic at the same time. I’m also a sucker for anything open-back.
