I spent the ‘day of love’ with my boyfriend in freezing New York City. Despite the cold temperatures, the weather didn’t stop me from making my Valentine’s Day fashionable. Luckily enough, while shopping for New Year’s eve dresses back in December I had bought a few basic black dresses as options for other occasions- one that I felt was perfect for Valentine’s Day. I wore a black midi-dress that was perfect for the night because it was light, comfortable, and a long enough length to stand the cold weather. I paired this fun dress with a red leather clutch, my red-sole Christian Louboutin booties, and redĀ chanelĀ lipstick. Needless to say, red&black were the colors of the night.
We went to an amazing Italian restaurant in the East Village called Cellar 58 with some of the best wine, and we couldn’t stop talking about the food all weekend.
Also, nothing started the weekend off better than having these beautiful flowers delivered to work.
& in return, I gave him possibly the sappiest Valentine’s gift ever: A list of reasons why I love him.
I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day spent with loved ones and dressed fashionable <3
XOXO,
