Last weekend I got the chance to visit Nashville for the first time, known for it’s honky-tonks, country music and amazing nightlife. It exceeded my expectations by far – so much that I didn’t want to leave. I went for a wedding and was told that the girls would be wearing cowboy boots and sundresses. I definitely do not own a pair of cowboy boots, and typically don’t dress on the country side. I did a little spin-off of what I perceive as ‘country’ and wore a maxi dress from Flynn Skye. For any of you who follow my blog know that I’ve lately developed a {big} addiction for anything off the shoulder. This dress features ruffled off the shoulder straps, a slit on one side and comes in several other colors/prints. In addition, it’s also the comfiest and easiest dress to slip on. What’s not to love? I paired it with my Jeffrey Campbell booties, the closest shoes to cowboy boots you’ll ever see me wear, as well as my mini Tory Burch shoulder bag. The wedding took place at a beautiful farm about 30 minutes away and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
