It’s always been one of my interests to create my own personal fashion blog, so I decided to finally take a stab at it. Having transferred colleges and studying abroad in London for five months, I am now living the life of a super-senior…totally worth it if you ask me. As I finish up my fifth year of college, my two best friends from my hometown in Mahwah, NJ decided to move down south to Charleston, SC and spend the year living with me. It’s kind of their gap year between post-graduation and pre-“real world”… what better way to spend it than in one of the prettiest cities in the country and while living with best friends? I’ve always had a mixed obsession for fashion, photography, traveling and expressing myself, so creating a blog seemed like the most appropriate outlet and platform for me to portray these interests. Although I’ve become accustomed to not having the standard ‘four seasons’ that I grew up with and having lived in Charleston for the past four years, my friends aren’t quite used to the humidity still existing in mid-September. They’re adjusting to the warm climate and having to alter their everyday fashion choices to accommodate to the local weather. I mean, it’s not so bad having the beach ten minutes away so I think they’ll adjust just fine. With that being said…although fall is approaching up north with the leaves changing and people getting out their leggings and jackets, down here we are still dressing in our light and simple summer clothes.
Meanwhile, my friends up north are starting to see the affects of fall.
While they spent the day apple picking and adjusting to the lowering temperatures, I spent the day at the beach.
