Happy Sunday everyone! This weekend my boyfriend came in to town from Jacksonville, Florida and it was an eventful one to say the least. We went out Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, so Sunday brunch was much needed today. It was our four month anniversary (even though it feels like a whole lot longer), and since we met in Charleston, it only felt right for us to celebrate it here. We went back to our favorite Italian restaurant Pane E Vino and I snapped some pictures of us beforehand. I couldn’t help but also share some photos of the amazing food we had. Charleston is getting somewhat chillier during the nights, (and by chillier I mean 75 at night rather than 80…) so wearing one of my new maxi dresses was absolutely perfect.
Of course I had to change up my outfit before heading out to the bars downtown. My outfit choice includes one of my recent favorite purchases from Nasty Gal: Hell Cat Shorts that are still available here ! Not only do I love how comfortable they are because of the stretch fabric, but also the fact that you can pair it with either a crop tank or sweater as a day outfit, or a sheer long sleeve shirt as a night outfit and still look fashionable and cute.
My boyfriend and I felt that it was also necessary one night to make an appearence at the bar where we first met downtown called Henry’s…and so we did.
We ended the weekend with a much needed brunch at Toast in downtown Charleston. Here I am also wearing one of my new favorite purchases from Nasty Gal: Straight Up Shorts which are unfortunately no longer available online 🙁
The purse that I’m wearing with this outfit is a recent purchase from Brandy Melville, another personal favorite store of mine. I love how simple and light the Black Leather Buckle Satchel is, and that you can literally wear it with any outfit.
To finish off the end to an amazing weekend, my roommates and I tried paddle-boarding for the first time and watched the sunset at Sullivan’s Island Beach.
