Hello my loves! I once again have taken too long putting up a new post and updating you on my life in NYC…but I promise for good reasons. Shortly after my most recent post and in just two weeks of hard searching for a job, I fortunately found one in fashion at an amazing company called Echo Design where I couldn’t be happier. Due to my lack of writing, I am going to consolidate a few different topics into one post so that I keep everything up to date.
First things first…Echo Design couldn’t be a better place for me to devote my admiration and work ethic for fashion. Not only is every single person truly an amazing asset to the company, going to work is enjoyable and constructive. Echo Design is a lifestyle brand that started in 1923 with scarves, but has expanded and grown into multiple lines of handbags, outerwear, beachwear, accessories, and home design. Not only can I purchase cozy and amazing scarves, sweaters, and beanies for this cold winter in NYC, but also some home decor to spice up my apartment a little! Another amazing aspect of the company is that they partner with Polo Ralph Lauren, which is a plus for me since I have worked there previously as well. Since we just had our sample sale last week, I am thrilled to say that I already have all my Christmas shopping done in one place. With all that being said, I want to share some of my favorite Echo pieces with you.
Let’s start right where the company originated: scarves. This scarf just screams me–it’s floral, multicolored and soft. It can also be easily worn over basically anything and comes in three colors. It’s multifunctional since you can wear it in any given season or climate.
The Thermal Stitch Pullover is definitely hands down my favorite Echo item, because it’s so easy to throw on over anything whether it be leggings or jeans. It’s cozy and perfect for fall&winter, and it comes in black as well so you have two earthy neutral color options.
This next piece is not just your typical cardigan. Its name is actually called a “ruana”, and is a cape-like cardigan that easily drapes over your shoulders. It’s perfect for any given occasion, but is my favorite to wear in casual settings. It comes in two other colors as well!
Echo’s beanies are some of the most comfortable hats I have ever worn, and they’re unique because their style is diverse and not dependent on one or two generic colors. The Optic Dot Skull Cap comes in a range of 6 colors. The maxi-cardigan worn in this outfit is another recent purchase from Urban Outfitters…obsessed.
Last but not least, these Echo gloves are not your ordinary pair of gloves. They are touchscreen proof and allow you to text on your phone. These are literally my dream come true because nothing is worse than walking to the subway in the freezing cold and not being able to use your phone. These gloves will be my new best friend throughout this chilly season.
|| Just a reminder, you can find Echo Design not only on their website but also in department stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Dillards, Macy’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and more. || 🙂
Shifting over to a completely different topic…SANTACON! // Santacon is an annual pub crawl all throughout Manhattan, where you basically get to dress us up as Santa for a day or dress in whichever festive way you choose. Although Santacon exists in other major cities, New York City holds the biggest one yet with over 13,000 people who attend. Although my best friend took the actual Santa Clause approach, I took my own route of dressing festive, comfortable and fashionable yet also incorporating some santa clause features. I chose to keep it simple by wearing leggings, a crop top, black fur vest, my favorite chanel lipstick, christmas patterned socks and of course a santa hat.
I also threw on a fur coat because it’s the coziest thing ever and it also kind of resembles santa/snow/christmas in a weird way.
All of these colors correlate well with the christmas theme and are great choices for any holiday themed event.
One final thing I wanted to share is another fav new purchase {I’ve shamefully done a lot since payday…} which is my winter go-to romper. It is the perfect combo of sexy, chic and classy all at the same time and it’s velvet so it’s comfortable to say the least. Throw it on with a pair of tights, statement necklace and booties and you’re good to go.
Sorry again for the extremely random assortment of segments and for my delay, and I hope everyone has a happy&healthy holiday and new year! <3

and because why not…
