Halloween can always be a stressful time to coordinate outfits and deciding what the perfect costume will be. What I’ve learned about Halloween apparel throughout the years is that you don’t need to go out and buy a brand new expensive costume that you’re most likely never going to get much use of again. Instead you can put together pieces from your own closet, borrow something from a friend or even make something yourself. This year I was lucky and was able to borrow both of my costumes (Cat Woman and Wonder Woman) from two different friends.
The leather crop top is from Joyce Leslie and can still be found on their website! The high waisted leather pants are from a small boutique in New Jersey, but you can find similar ones from Go Jane.
The next night my friends and I decided to all be super heroes together.
The beauty of celebrating halloween with your friends is that you can swap costumes.
We finished off our eventful “Halloweek” by spending the day rowing boats at the same lake from where The Notebook was filmed in Cypress Gardens. It’s been a must on my to-do list in Charleston and I finally got to do it.
I hope everyone’s Halloween was just as eventful & fashionable as mine! 🙂
